In addition to murals, frescoes, and stained glass windows is also
known for work on canvas such as landscapes and portraits.
He was introduced to art at an early age by his mother a painter
and pianist and his father who was an architect.
After a conventional education he attended The Fine Art Academy
in Poland where he studied drawing, painting and art history. Later he also
belonged to The School of Monumental Art and Composition, which was funded
by Professor Boudouin de Courtenay. Henry also apprenticed at stained glass
Studio for two years.
When in Poland he received many commissions to paint murals, portraits
and design stained glass windows.
Starting in 1985, Henry lived in Italy for two years and work on
ceiling murals decorations and portraits in villas around Rome.
From there he moved to the United States and has traveled extensively
along the East Coast, working on reconstruction of lost historic art
and decoration in places such as: United States Capitol Building,
Scottish Rite Temple Washington DC, State Capitol Michigan, The Supreme
Court Building, Manhattan N.Y. and many others.
Since 1995 he has worked in Puerto Rico painting large scale
murals and decorations for the City Hall and many other buildings
in Old San
Juan.
